Do you qualify for student child care?

  • At least one parent must be a registered UC Berkeley student.
  • Fees are based upon a sliding scale – limited subsidized spaces are offered to families based on age of the child and gross income (adjusted for family size according to State Department of Education rankings). In addition, parents must demonstrate need for child care. Generally if there are two parents in the family, second parent is either enrolled in school or employed.
  • Full-fee spaces for students are also available (see staff/faculty page for rates).
