Steeped in campus tradition and history, Stern Hall offers summer visitors affordable accommodations conveniently located on the northeast corner of the Berkeley campus at Hearst Avenue and Highland Place.

Rooms are furnished with one or two single beds, linens, pillows, towels, soap, desk(s) and wardrobe(s). Shared bathrooms with private toilets and showers are centrally located on each floor. There are no bedrooms with private bathrooms. There is a telephone in each room. Long distance calls must be charged to a calling card or a major credit card. In-room computer access and internet connections are not available at this time. Each guest is invited to use the computing center provided by Stern Residence Hall. The computing center is available to Summer Visitor Housing guests from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.
