Check-In

Standard check-in time is 3:00 pm unless otherwise arranged with Conference Services. Conference guests will be greeted by our conference clerk staff who will distribute room keys, meal cards and a welcome letter giving your guests information about the facilities. Conference clerks are UC Berkeley students who live on site. The front desk telephone number is posted throughout each Residence Hall facility so your guests may contact a conference clerk should they arrive after 11:00 pm.

Check-Out

Please advise guests to close their room doors (doors lock automatically) and return their keys to the front desk by 12:00 noon or the check-out time indicated on the contract. There is a $50.00 charge for residence hall keys not returned, and a $75.00 charge for suite keys not returned. Keys that are not returned will be billed to the program on the master bill; they will not be charged to the individual guest. Locks are changed shortly after a key is reported missing, therefore, the fee is not refundable should the original key be returned at a later date.
