Housing Application will be open on February 1, 2013!

1. Both full-time University of California, Berkeley students and visiting students can register and pay for Summer Sessions Residence Halls Housing on our secure Housing Application - APPLY NOW!

FULL-TIME UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY STUDENTS (newly admitted and continuing) will be required to use their CalNet ID and passphrase to log in (obtained after completing your Statement of Intent to Register here.

VISITING STUDENTS will be required to use their CalNet ID and passphrase to log in.

2. If you are 18 years old, you may accept the housing contract. If you are under 18 years old, the housing contract must be accepted by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian will be required to provide their name, address and relationship to the contract holder. The parent or legal guardian will be required to agree to and accept the terms of the contract.

3. The online contract is a LEGAL DOCUMENT. Please be sure that you read and fully understand the Terms and Conditions of Residence prior to submitting.

4. Once you submit the online contract, within 1-2 business days you will receive an offer by email. You must accept, with payment, by the due date designated for your offer.

5. If you want a single-occupancy room, please apply as soon as possible. The number of single rooms is limited. If you request a single-occupancy room and no single rooms are available, you will be offered a double occupancy room.

7. Do you have a need for any non-standard housing accommodations?

Please let us know if you feel you may need any non-standard housing accommodations. Below are some examples of such arrangements:

  • Automatic Door Opener
  • Assisted Listening Device
  • Roll-in Shower
  • Single Room
  • Strobe Light Fire Alarm

    • It is important for us to know of all necessary accommodations in a timely manner. If you answered yes to this question, you will be contacted via email or telephone by a Summer Sessions Housing representative as soon as possible. Note: Please be aware that this information will not be available to any person or office for any reason other than to determine the need for non-standard housing accommodations.
