You can use your Cal Dining plan whenever you want and however you want in all of our locations! Please read the information on this page or use the links to the right to navigate through the information.

Non-Resident Meal Plan Basics
- Blue
1300 points per academic year, 650 per semester [1200 standard points + 100 bonus points] $1200 per academic year/$600 per semester
- Gold
1850 points per academic year, 925 per semester [1700 standard points + 150 bonus points] $1700 per academic year/$850 per semester
- Platinum
2400 points per academic year, 1200 per semester [2200 standard points + 200 bonus points] $2200 per academic year/$1100 per semester

- Four residential retail locations: Bear Market, The Den, featuring Peet's Coffee & Tea, Cub Market and CKCub
- Eight on-campus retail locations: Golden Bear [GBC], Pat Brown's, Ramona's, Terrace Café, The Pro Shop, Qualcomm CyberCafe, Common Grounds and The View Cafe at LHS
- Produce stands at Golden Bear [GBC] Mon - Thurs
- Memorial Stadium, Haas Pavilion and other athletic venues accept meal points at select concession stands
- No daily minimums or maximums - buy when you want
- Unlimited guest meals - use your points for as many guests as you want
- To-go meals at all four residence dining commons
- Late night service also available. See hours for options.
- Easy online account management - add more points, check balance, budget points
- Add more points at any time - $50 = 55 points
- 50% of points are added at the beginning of each semester
- Up to 100 unused points from fall rollover to spring

Retail points have a purchasing power of $1.00 each (calculated to the 1/100th).
For example, a purchase of $2.01 would cost 2.01 points.
