Our combination of residential and retail services feature well-rounded options whether students are on-the-go or gathering with friends around a dining table. Meal plan points can be used at all (16) Cal Dining locations [four residential dining commons, four residential retail locations, and eight on-campus retail locations] and the GBC produce stand, Memorial Stadium, Haas Pavilion and other athletic venues.

Resident Meal Plan Basics
Meal plans are included with students' housing contracts [except for Wada & Channing-Bowditch apartment housing].You choose your meal plan type (standard, premium, or ultimate access) when you sign your housing contract, not when you apply. If you didn't choose a plan, then you will automatically receive the standard plan. More points can always be added during the semester and changes to your meal plan can be made between the fall and spring semesters.
Meal plan points are the currency in which students can use their residential meal plans.
