DC Tabling Request

Cal Dining Residence Hall Tabling Guidelines

The following guidelines are designed to provide a consistent format from which students are allowed to table inside or outside Cal Dining facilities. Tablers who do not plan to dine will receive a wristband upon entry into the dining halls.

WHO CAN TABLE?
Each group must be a registered U.C. Berkeley Student Organization or Residence Hall Organization. Unit managers will utilize the following web site to determine if an organization is registered through the Campus Life & Leadership. http://uga.berkeley.edu/sas/VGS.htm
Only two organizations may table during each dining period.

HOW CAN I APPLY?
Each group must complete the tabling form or e-mail requests directly to the dining management staff responsible for reservations in each DC:

NOTE: Managers will contact you regarding the status of your request. Please apply as much in advance in possible, since there are limited spaces each day and the contacts above do not work everyday, therefore some requests may take a few days to process. Tablers must pay for meal during tabling!

EQUIPMENT USE:
The group is responsible for obtaining and returning all borrowed equipment to Cal Dining. Non-residence hall groups must provide their own equipment unless other arrangements have been made.

TABLING GUIDELINES:
While tabling, the group should:
not solicit in line, but allow interested students to approach the group.
not block or hinder any student from entering the dining facilities.
act in a professional, non-threatening manner.

RESIDENTIAL DINING TABLING INFORMATION NEEDED:

E-mail or call the respective DC manager (see above) with the following information:

• Date
• Student Organization
• Student Contact Name
• Phone Number
• Purpose
• Tabling Date requested
