Cal Rentals is a service offered in Cal Housing that assists you with making informed choices about the various housing options available to you. In addition to providing housing counseling, Cal Rentals offers a rental listing service for students who want to live off-campus in Berkeley or one of the surrounding communities. HOUSING COUNSELING
Peer and professional advisors in Cal Rentals assist students with determining what their housing options are and help with narrowing down choices. If you are looking for rental housing, Cal Rentals staff will guide you in expediting your housing search. We can also answer your questions about commuting, setting up utilities, protecting your security deposit, housing safety, and other aspects about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant.

SPECIAL SERVICES FOR FALL EXTENSION, TRANSFER, RE-ENTRY AND GRADUATE STUDENTS
Cal Rentals offers special programs to assist spring freshmen admits enrolled in the UC Extension Fall Freshman Program. New transfer, re-entry and graduate students will find support with special handouts and counseling services targeted to their needs. Students with family responsibilities may want consult with a professional advisor in Cal Rentals to gather school and/or child care information, check out summer camp listings or discuss the best areas to split a commute with a working partner.

RENTAL LISTING SERVICES
An online listing service gives you access to a large database of rentals that is updated throughout each weekday. You may even list yourself as an available housemate.
