Our staff will not check in students before 10 a.m. We know there is a temptation to come early and beat the rush. We would like to discourage this practice because of the lack of parking. Please come on time and work with our move-in staff and the UC police department. Check-in will go smoothly if we all work together.
Keep in mind that whether you are living in a double or triple, choosing your space in the room should be a negotiated conversation with your roommate(s), not on a "first come first serve" basis. During the first few weeks, RAs will be working with all students to complete roommate agreements and enhance opportunities for good communication and cooperation. We encourage you to begin conversations with your roommate(s) prior to your arrival. See Living With a Roommate. |
