"What is in my room?"
Rooms are furnished with extra-long twin single beds and/or bunkbeds, mattress pads, desks, chairs, and drawer space for each student. They also include closets, mirrors, wastebaskets, bookshelves, general lighting, and curtains. Unless you are in a single room, you will be sharing with at least one other person.

What NOT to Bring:
- Electric cooking implements - anything with coils
- Extra furniture and bulky things (at least until you've settled in and had a chance to determine what you really need.)
- Refrigerator or microwave (see link to our refrigerator program below)
- Candles or incense
- Heaters
- Halogen lights
- Satellite dishes
- Toasters, toaster ovens, hotplates
- Pets
- Decorative string lights

MICRO 101 SOLUTIONS
Personal microwaves and refrigerators are not allowed in UC Berkeley residence hall rooms. Residents can rent an Energy Star combination unit from Micro101 Solutions, Inc. Micro 101 has teamed up with Berkeley to offer products and services designed to fit your room and save energy. Micro 101 offers several options to choose from. Delivery is free, and units are set up and picked up from your room.
