The campus Office of Human Resources has created a new template for classification reviews. Effective May 1, 2004, all RSSP positions submitted for classification review, including MSP and technical positions, must use the two new campus forms.

and the new Job Description Template can be found at http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/forms/jobdesctemplate.doc
and will also be posted under The Insider, under Human Resources, in the
Forms section.
Please remember that classification review request packets must be submitted
to Shannon Lee at 2610 Channing Way, MC 2272 or at shannlee@berkeley.edu
least five working days before the end of the calendar month (except for
job packets that have to be reviewed for recruitment; see Section V of
the attached "RSSP Classification Review Process").
Recruitment cannot begin until the review of the request packet is complete. This is an internal RSSP process, and these packets can be turned in any time during the month. However, positions will not be listed unless the packet is complete and the internal review has been completed
