Unit 2

History of Unit 2

The Unit 2 high-rises were originally built in 1960, with four buildings designed around a central dining hall, mail room, and recreational center. As a result of the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, additional cross-bracing was added to the exteriors of the buildings. Unit 2 was recently renovated in 2000.
