Mission Provide Human Resources support to the Department of Housing and Dining Services as part of the University's mission of teaching, research and public service. This commitment is accomplished through coordinated services that are provided to employees including employment, payroll, benefits, training and development, communication, employee recognition, employee relations and health and safety. Values We honor and support the Housing and Dining Services Statement of Values: Respect and Civility. We treat all customers equally and fairly regardless of classification. We invest in Human Resources by promoting the acquisition of knowledge and skills. We promote harmony, unity, and trust within Human Resources. We demonstrate a willingness to be of service by responding to customers in a timely manner with accurate and thorough information. We continuously look for ways to enhance efficiency. We accomplish this by providing customer training, evaluating processes, eliminating duplication, employing technology, and focusing on outcomes. We encourage open and honest communication with each other and our customers. Vision Every Housing and Dining Services Human Resources staff member is important. Together we plan for the future in our approach to the implementation of department and campus practices that support the University's mission of teaching, research, and public service.
