The Office of Student Development (OSD) is charged with the development and implementation of orientation and transitional programs for students and their families at the University of California, Berkeley. We also create residential communities that facilitate personal development and intellectual growth, which aligns well with Divisional and Institutional missions. The Office of Student Development has recently restructured to support a more integrated approach to managing services and programs for residential students. Within this new structure our professional and student teams will be working together in new ways to bring responsive services to residents that will help them gain the knowledge and skills necessary for engaging in the scholarly and social communities of The University of California, Berkeley.
