Academic Services Department of Housing and Dining Services


Five Academic Centers offer tutoring, study groups, faculty programs, learning skills courses and workshops, academic and career advising, and computer facilities. The computing centers are equipped with a large number of computer workstations with the latest hardware and software programs; and are connected to the Campus Network (including the library catalog systems - GLADIS and MELVYL - and the Internet, World Wide Web, and e-mail).
The Academic Centers are located at the following units:

  • Clark Kerr Campus Academic Center (Unit 5)

  • Foothill, Bowles, and Stern Academic Center (Unit 4)

  • Unit 3 Academic Center

  • Unit 2 Academic Center

  • Unit 1 Academic Center

The web page for all of the Academic Computing Centers can be accessed here. Residents may also access the Campus Network directly through ethernet connections in each student room.

Please note: Student rooms at Units 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 have ethernet connections to the Campus Network. Rooms in Smyth-Fernwald do not have ethernet connectons.
